Yep, I called/cried ..you name it wolf….

So after a few days of feeling like things were coming soon, having all the impending labor signs - .Monday the contractions got to a point where I was timing them.

So, on Tuesday I had the start of my weekly appointments with my midwife. We decided to have her check me to see if some of the contractions I’ve had on/off are doing any progress. Well, sure enough I’m at least 2cm dilated. It wasn’t the most pleasant thing to go through (the exam process that is) but I’m glad to know that there is progress ( Read more... )

So, we have a new car, a 2008 Buick Enclave that was picked up last Wed. I’m in love and it’s the perfect non-minivan family car for us!

We have had sun out which means kiddo gets to enjoy the outdoors finally!

Too tired to sit at the computer much longer to actually type up something meaningful. Although, we did have a brief contraction scare last Friday but I’m fine and little Merrick is healthy and happy staying in me.

I had my midwife appt. last week and had the pleasure of drinking that nasty orange crap for the glucose test. Went through all the usual stuff and baby is head down, was hiccupping away while listening to the heartbeat, measuring right on target and my blood pressure is staying in check so far. I didn’t disappear off the face of the earth! ? Thanks to those that asked! I did however disappear from online / the computer for a while and I’m still scarce to be honest. I realized that when my own grandma and mom were writing me asking me how I was doing, that I basically had dropped off the face of the earth a bit or so it had seemed! ( Read more... )

to spend money, get caught up in the rush and stress of the holidays, have weekends booked with events of some form for weeks on end and lastly try to take a break to enjoy some of this time with our family and be thankful for what we have in our lives.

Had a midwife appt. yesterday. I’m 13 weeks along now and still suffering morning sickness. It’s still more difficult in the late afternoons/evenings and first thing in the morning. Mid-day seems to be manageable as long as I snack almost non-stop. Had about 3 days of almost non-stop throwing up this week though so it is definitely not gone by ( Read more... )
